What a wonderful introduction to the Tarot. Lizzie. I’ve long been wanting to learn about it and am excited to come on this journey with you where you share it so beautifully. I too have come to believe that this human life is all about love and learning to open our hearts and minds to everyone and everything. Mine used to be closed as I thought that was keeping me safe but since I opened it wide everything in my life has become better 💙
It's really great to have you here, Amanda! ❤️ Thank you so much for reading and commenting ☺️ I can relate to 'closed heart' state, but we are only reinforcing the fear, aren't we?
This is really beautiful, Lizzie. A fantastic start to your Baggy-Trousered Tarotist. I adore how you describe the tarot as a love song to life, and found it fascinating to learn more about the Queen, especially as she is connected to the element of water and I'm always hungry for more wisdom around the elements. What is also ringing through me are your final words around the Queen's faith in our ability to feel love and pass it on. One of the most significant aspects of my own healing journey has be to discover, and then own, the gigantic capacity for love that I contain, and to overcome my fear in expressing that. This post felt like a little acknowledgment that I was right to follow this urge and to let love be my guide. Thank you.
What a beautiful, big-hearted reflection, Gabriela ♥️ I'm so very happy to have you here in my cosy tarot corner, and really appreciate your support. It's wonderful that you are expressing your huge capacity for love. I can relate to that, and it is only since getting to intimately know this particular Queen that I have felt the freedom to let love flow abundantly, knowing that is something far bigger than me that simply asks that we open to it and let it through x
Thanks, Lizzie! I love how you describe ‘something far bigger’ and the practice of just letting it through. What comes to me as I reflect on that is how, opening to this bigness, will slowly help us remember how infinite we all are.
Thank you for expounding on this queen with such elegance and insight! This was especially useful to me as I drew her recently and was having trouble discerning her presence within the context of the other cards. But it makes total sense now! As I was reading, I could FEEL, in my heart, you channeling the Queen of Cups, which made her guidance sink in even more. ❤️
Well I can feel those tears prickling as I read this, Al! I'm a cryer these days, thanks to the Queen of Cups 😉 I am profoundly happy that you found these words about her helpful, and that her message for you now feels clear. Thank you for reading and commenting ♥️ It's a little scary putting a new publication out there and your presence here is nourishing and uplifting x
I am so pleased to come across your writing. I have recently completed the Tarot certificate and I am on the journey to explore the cards, their meaning and their energy. As I work with one deck only at the moment - I appreciate the insights of other decks. Thank you!
Ela, I am so pleased you're here! Which certificate did you do? And I'd love to know which deck you use... I still mainly use the RWS and the Spacious Tarot but my deck collection grows by the month 🫣 Thank you for commenting, I really appreciate it 🙏
I use RWS and I am so fully absorbed in this journey. Haven’t had anything to do with tarot my entire life and suddenly felt such a pull to learn - there were no questions asked 😊
Had to complete all the basics first and now I am exploring more in depth understanding- and I love it.
Hi Stephanie! Oh that's so beautiful that you are drawn to the Queen of Cups energy and love force ❤️ Tarot is indeed a thing of beauty, I'm glad to be sharing this space with you!

Yep we are. When there really is nothing to be afraid of! 😂
